As part of MoneySuperMarkets new loyalty scheme, I was part of the team that created and shaped the identity of our biggest launch. This project included a lot of CX and quick rapid ideation & designs.

Hackathon project: Research & Design

The optimisation of life insurance was one of my favorite projects to work on during my time at MoneySuperMarket.

This included, extensive research, workshopping, and an iterative design roll out with A/B testing and overall had a rating of 14% click out to sale which increased our company revenue by approx. £3m.

Looking into redesigning the promotions landing page for Sky Bet.

This project consisted of full autonomy and project leading. I started off with project discovery by digging up old research that had already been done on the promotions page, used this to form pain-points which enabled us to get a start on a project canvas. From the project canvas we were able to define KPI’s and how we measure success. I then used the pain points / business goals / research to form a new hierarchy for the landing page. From that I conducted internal user research to validate the design decisions.

I iterated on the designs from the internal testing then put it forward for userzoom testing for further validation.

My work for a content/ short form video production tool for an internal BBC product.

a 2 day design sprint exploration on how the we can surface voting & polls to modernise content discovery/ interaction & be consistent with with competitors & user needs.

Imagery for BBC sport website in collaboration with editorial. This was only a simple graphic design task however it was important that the images responded well to the BBC responsive framework.

An exploration in how we can surface events on BBC Sport for individual sports, multiple sports and the 2020 Olympics. This project has this far consisted of qualitative and quantitative research, stakeholder management & rapid prototyping for usability lab testing. This is an iterative design process.

I was given the opportunity to design how the BBC displays its scores and fixtures for NFL & Netball. The aim of the project was to increase unique visits for under 35s for two upcoming popular sports.

This project consisted of qualitative and quantitative research, followed by sketching, prototyping, live usability lab testings & an accessibility audit.

At Now Healthcare, I provided the UX design on the creation of a digital healthcare product focusing on the restructuring of the mobile/tablet app and website.

This was a complex project that required many concept designs based on determined business goals. The app has now been rolled out to the NHS and is one of the first of its kind.

I have shown here a selection of the designs and wireframes for mobile, storyboards and a further concept for an Apple iWatch app.

Research and design towards to mobile creation of the commenting on NICE guidelines.

A core competency of a functioning UX design framework is the optimum AB process journey for the user. On this project, I was tasked with improving process flow and journey experience for the one of the most visited pages on the NICE website – the Topic Landing Page. To achieve this I conducted user research, heuristic analysis, data analysis, sketching, user testing, low-fi and hi-fi prototypes, & end result was AB testing with continuous iteration.

The subsequent User Research demonstrated a greatly improved user journey satisfaction rate and the UX design is still in place under continuous iteration.

As a UX designer at NICE, I am involved in lots of different projects but a large portion of my time is spent working on the most frequented pages on the NICE interface. I have shown here examples of wireframe concepts for various NICE pages and tools such as the META tool which passed a GDS assessment and won multiple healthcare industry awards.

EPPI is part of the Social Science Research Unit at the Institute of Education, University of London. Its work is concerned with systematic reviews which use transparent and explicit methodologies for reviewing research evidence. This helps users to be clear about research findings and conclusions and the reasoning behind it.

My role was to evaluate the effectiveness of the tool currently in place. I created a UI kit to list all the side components and created live prototypes for developers to be able to understand how the elements of the tool worked in conjunction. The developers then utilised my prototype to develop a further iteration of the existing tool.

MyCleverLabs, an organisation that focuses on presenting performance rates of companies, were looking to improve the UX within their tools. The project focused on designing a low-fi wireframe for each individual tool and then to develop these using a UX kit into a hi-fi fully functional toolkit.

Infographics designed to give an over-all view of a project to make it easier and more efficient for internal staff to read complex amounts of data. Below is a sample of Inforgraphics I have designed. I have received significant exposure and praise for my work on this at NICE as it is outside of my regular remit and was of a higher standard than anticipated.

On a recent holiday to Toronto, I visited the Steamwhistle brewery and fell in love with their branding and product set. Their website, in my opinion, didn’t show off the true potential of their strong branding. I redesigned their site and sent it to Steamwhistle as a extra-curricular project.
